Position Summary
Sundance is looking for a dependable and observant Landscape Quality Control Inspector to serve as our eyes in the field.
This person will visit the commercial properties we maintain, inspect the work completed by our field crews, and confirm that each property is being serviced according to company standards. The inspector will document incomplete or incorrect work, report property conditions, and identify potential landscaping improvements or additional work opportunities.
The information collected will be shared with our Operations and Sales teams so they can address service issues and follow up on potential projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit assigned properties and inspect the quality of landscaping services.
- Confirm that field crews are completing all required work correctly.
- Identify missed, incomplete, or poorly performed services.
- Take clear notes and photographs of property conditions.
- Report issues such as weeds, overgrown areas, irrigation problems, damaged plants, trash, drainage concerns, or safety hazards.
- Observe and report changes or activity around the properties that may affect our work.
- Identify potential enhancement opportunities, such as planting, mulching, trimming, irrigation repairs, cleanups, or landscape improvements.
- Submit accurate inspection reports to the Operations and Sales teams.
- Communicate urgent service or safety concerns promptly.
- Maintain a professional appearance and attitude while visiting customer properties.
- Work independently and manage an assigned inspection schedule.
Qualifications
- Landscaping or property-maintenance experience is preferred.
- Good understanding of professional landscaping standards.
- Strong attention to detail and observation skills.
- Ability to recognize service problems and potential landscaping opportunities.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable taking photographs and submitting reports using a phone or tablet.
- Organized, dependable, and able to work independently.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Ability to travel between properties throughout the workday.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, but not required.
- Experience in landscping is a plus, but not required.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
