Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and customer-focused Powersports: Parts Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers seeking parts and accessories, helping them find the right solutions to enhance their riding experience. Your enthusiasm for powersports combined with your sales skills will drive customer satisfaction and support our dealership’s growth.
Duties
- All duties apply to in person customers and over the phone
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in identifying the parts and accessories they need for their powersports vehicles
- Provide expert advice on product features, compatibility, and maintenance tips to ensure customer satisfaction
- Manage inventory levels by stocking, organizing, and conducting regular stock checks using inventory management systems
- Process sales transactions accurately through the point-of-sale (POS) system
- Maintain a clean, organized parts department and showroom to create an inviting shopping environment
- Collaborate with service technicians and other team members to ensure timely order fulfillment and vehicle maintenance support
- Utilize marketing strategies to promote parts specials, new arrivals, and seasonal promotions to boost sales
Requirements
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Previous experience in retail sales or dealership environments, preferably within powersports or automotive sectors
- Basic to advanced mechanical knowledge of motorcycles, ATV's, side-by-sides or personal watercraft preferred
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively negotiate and engage with diverse customers in multiple languages (bilingual/multilingual skills are a plus)
- Demonstrated organizational skills with attention to detail in stocking, order fulfillment, and inventory control processes
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Team player with a professional appearance and demeanor
