Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Mechanical Assembler/Production to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling various components with security enclosures with precision and efficiency, ensuring quality standards are met throughout the process. Your mechanical knowledge will be vital in creating high-quality assemblies that meet strict specifications. This is a great TEMP-TO-PERM opportunity!
Shift & Pay:
- Mon-Thur / 10 hour shifts / Fri OT as needed
- $22/hr
Responsibilities
- Assemble using hand tools and power tools.
- Utilize measuring instruments to verify component dimensions and assembly accuracy.
- Conduct quality inspections throughout the assembly process, ensuring adherence to specifications and safety standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Assist with warehouse tasks such as inventory management, material handling with forklifts, and shipping/receiving procedures when necessary.
- Due to government contracts, this facility is under video and audio surveillance
Qualifications
- Proven experience in manufacturing or assembly environments with a strong mechanical aptitude.
- Prolonged standing, bending & lifting up to 50lbs
- Proficiency in tape measure - WILL BE TESTED
- Ability to read blueprints - WILL BE TESTED
- Hands-on experience with hand tools and power tools
- Ability to operate forklifts or other warehouse equipment
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Must pass criminal background and drug screening. NO Felonies, nothing violent or pending.
- Must be US Citizen
