Seeking:
Experienced Field Service Manager responsible for leading service operations, managing field teams, and ensuring the efficient maintenance, repair, and performance of equipment. Focused on driving operational excellence, minimizing downtime, maintaining compliance, and delivering high levels of customer satisfaction through strong leadership, technical expertise, and organized service execution.
Core Responsibilities
- Oversee field service operations: Direct repairs, installations, and preventive maintenance for equipment, minimizing downtime
- Implement service processes: Create and approve field service procedures, ensuring compliance with manufacturer guidelines and safety regulations
- Manage and train teams: Supervise Field Service Coordinators and Technicians, providing training and development opportunities to improve skills and performance
- Schedule and track service calls: Maintain an efficient backlog, expedite repairs, and coordinate with vendors for timely parts delivery
- Preventive maintenance: Establish and enforce preventative maintenance schedules, including annual inspections.
- Customer service: Address customer inquiries promptly, resolve service issues, and maintain high satisfaction levels
- Inventory and procurement: Manage parts inventory, issue purchase orders, and track deliveries to ensure availability
Key Skills and Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred; bachelor’s degree often required
- Experience: Proven background in equipment maintenance, repair, and field service management.
- Technical knowledge: In-depth understanding of equipment systems, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance.
- Leadership: Strong supervisory and team management abilities.
- Organizational skills: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage resources, and meet deadlines.
- Customer focus: Excellent communication and problem-solving skills to maintain customer satisfaction.
- Pay based on Experience
Typical Work Environment
- Location: Robertsdale- Often based at a central office but may travel to field sites on occasion.
- Work hours: Full-time, with possible overtime during peak service periods, On Call Rotation
- Setting: Industrial, construction, and logistics
Pay: From $75,000.00 per year
