Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Carpenter/Framer to join our dynamic construction team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from framing homes to residential remodeling, utilizing your expertise in framing, concrete forming, and various carpentry techniques. Duties
- Erect buildings and install structural framing using wood, or other materials according to schematics and blueprints
- Construct concrete forms for foundations, walls, and other structures, ensuring precise measurements and alignment
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute construction plans accurately
- Operate power tools and heavy equipment safely for framing, roofing, siding, and demolition activities while adhering to safety protocols
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction site work with a focus on carpentry, framing, or related trades
- Strong knowledge of building codes and practices
- Skilled in the use of hand tools such as saws, hammers, chisels as well as power tools including drills and saws
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately for precise execution of tasks
- Experience with heavy lifting equipment operation and safety procedures on active construction sites
- Knowledge of roofing, siding, trim carpentry, restoration work, and remodeling projects is highly desirable
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
