Position Summaries:
Analysis Tech: The Analysis Technician analyzes all poles within a project using collected field data to ensure compliance with engineering standards and project requirements. Responsibilities include:
· Reviewing and interpreting field data to identify potential issues, required adjustments, or engineering needs
· Preparing detailed reports and analysis results
· Preforming field work as needed to verify data, address inconsistencies and keep projects on schedule
· Maintaining clear and timely communication with field data and the design team
· Contributing to process improvement by identifying opportunities for increased accuracy and efficiency
Design Tech: The Design Technician is responsible for creating and revising work orders for a variety of utility projects, from large-scale pole replacements to joint use make-ready engineering.
Duties include:
· Drafting detailed accurate design drawings and documentation based on project specifications and field/analysis data.
· Coordinating with analysis techs, project managers and utility representatives to ensure designs meet applicable codes, standards, and client requirements
· Incorporating engineering calculations, safety considerations, and construction feasibility into all designs
· Performing field work and analysis as needed to verify design requirements and smooth project progression
· Managing multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining high quality standards
POSITION AND PAY CONTINGENT UPON EXPERIENCE
Requirements:
· Must pass a drug test.
· Must pass a background check.
· Must have 1-3 years of power distribution design and or field experience.
· Must have valid driver's license
· Must be willing to travel when performing fieldwork
· Experience with DDS, STS, PDS, Pole Foreman preferred but not required.
