Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly manner, ensuring they feel welcomed.
- Take accurate food and drink orders from guests and relay them to the kitchen staff.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring quality presentation.
- Assist with food preparation as needed, adhering to food handling safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including sanitizing tables and utensils after each use.
- Handle cash register transactions accurately, including cash handling and processing payments.
- Provide exceptional guest services by addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any special requests from guests.
- Uphold high standards of hygiene and sanitation in accordance with health regulations.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations.
- Excellent hospitality skills with the ability to create a positive dining experience.
- Proficient in cash handling and operating a cash register efficiently.
- Basic math skills for accurate order processing and payment handling.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience in the food industry or kitchen settings is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Bartending experience preferred.
