We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that every guest feels welcomed and valued. Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings.
- Take accurate orders and relay them to the kitchen staff using the POS system.
- Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their meal.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests with professionalism and courtesy.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Assist with banquet or catering events as needed, ensuring all details are executed flawlessly.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Process payments accurately while adhering to restaurant policies.
Skills
- Strong basic math skills for handling transactions and making change.
- Experience in fine dining or banquet service is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with POS systems to efficiently manage orders and payments.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy shifts.
- Ability to upsell menu items through effective sales techniques.
- Knowledge of catering services is a plus for special events.
- Bartending experience is beneficial for establishments that serve alcohol.
- A team-oriented attitude with the ability to work collaboratively in a restaurant setting.
