Department: Product Manufacturing Engineering (PME)
Wistron Infocomm USA is seeking a highly motivated PME Packing Engineer to support packaging validation, labeling design, and cross functional coordination for our products. This role will work closely with engineering, operations, quality, and customer teams to ensure packaging solutions meet functional, compliance, and reliability requirements.

Design and maintain packaging labels and barcodes using Codesoft.

Develop, review, and optimize packaging Bills of Materials (BOMs), material specifications, and packaging process plans.

Read and interpret 2D/3D engineering drawings to support packaging design and manufacturing requirements.

Conduct and support packaging reliability testing, including drop, vibration, compression, and environmental tests.

Apply knowledge of ISTA ASTM standards or internal packaging specifications (preferred but not required).

Collaborate with cross functional teams, customers, and suppliers to ensure packaging readiness for production builds and shipments.

Support packaging related projects, continuous improvement initiatives, and other engineering tasks as assigned.

Ensure all packaging processes comply with safety, quality, and regulatory expectations.

Associate degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Packaging Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

Proficiency in Codesoft (label and barcode design).

Strong understanding of packaging materials, structures, BOMs, and process planning.

Ability to interpret engineering drawings and documentation.

Experience in electronics manufacturing or system integrator environments preferred.

Knowledge of packaging reliability testing methods and industry standards is a plus.

Strong communication and teamwork skills with the ability to work across multiple functional teams.

Office and manufacturing floor environment.

May require standing, walking, or light lifting during packaging validation or testing activities.

Occasional domestic or international travel may be required for supplier, customer, or build related support.
