The barback supports bartenders by ensuring the bar remains fully stocked, clean, and organized throughout service. This role is fast‑paced and physically demanding, ideal for someone looking to grow into a bartender position.
Key Responsibilities:
Restock liquor, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, and glassware
- Prepare garnishes and simple mixes
- Keep bar surfaces, floors, and equipment clean
- Retrieve and wash glassware; return clean glasses to stations
- Assist bartenders with orders during peak hours
- Empty trash, wipe spills, and maintain sanitation standards
- Support opening/closing procedures
- Organize inventory and store deliveries properly
Requirements:
- Ability to lift 40–60 lbs. (cases)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of basic bar tools and drink components (or willingness to learn)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work nights/weekends
