About your new role:
We’re seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Associate to join our Accounting and Finance team. Reporting to the Controller and working closely with the VP of Accounting and the rest of the accounting group, this position plays a vital role in supporting our financial operations across multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage Accounts Receivable cash receipt activities and maintain customer accounts by researching and resolving invoice discrepancies.
- Assist with the monthly financial close process for Prent operations in Wisconsin, Texas, Puerto Rico, Mexico, and Costa Rica.
- Review expense report and credit card charge details and code appropriately while also reviewing to ensure charges fall within Prent travel guidelines.
- Reconcile intercompany accounts and various balance sheet accounts.
- Prepare and maintain schedules supporting annual audits and tax preparation.
- Assist with government reporting requirements and material cycle counts.
- Provide backup support for both accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
- Review daily purchase orders and weekly check runs for accuracy.
- Prepare and file monthly sales and use tax returns.
- Support special projects and other accounting activities as assigned.
What you need:
- Associate’s degree in accounting or related field.
- 1-2 years of accounting, bookkeeping, or related experience.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, including spreadsheets, formulas, and pivot tables.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and integrity.
- A team-oriented attitude and willingness to learn and grow.
