Miami Family Law Group is seeking a Junior Associate Probate Litigation Attorney to support and manage probate, trust, and estate disputes under the guidance of experienced senior attorneys. This is a structured growth role for a developing Florida litigator who is ready for substantive work in a well-organized, well-supported practice.
You will assist with contested estate and trust matters involving fiduciary disputes, inheritance conflicts, undue influence claims, and high-conflict family dynamics. You will gain real litigation experience, direct client exposure, and the mentorship needed to grow toward independent case management in a complex and rewarding practice area.
What You'll Own

Responsibilities

Support and manage probate, estate, and trust litigation matters from start to finish with partner guidance

Advise clients on case status, strategy, and next steps under attorney supervision

Draft, review, and refine pleadings, motions, discovery, and related documents

Represent clients in hearings, court proceedings, and negotiations with senior support

Collaborate with the probate administration team when litigation matters overlap with active estate administration

Conduct legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other tools

Work closely with support staff to maintain organized files, meet deadlines, and move cases forward

Identify legal and procedural issues early and escalate appropriately
Requirements
Required:

Active Florida Bar membership in good standing

3 to 5 years of Florida probate litigation or closely related litigation experience

Some exposure to contested probate matters, trust disputes, hearings, or motion practice

Ability to manage assigned matters and develop toward independent litigation ownership

Strong legal writing, research, and client communication skills

Organized, dependable, and receptive to mentorship and feedback
