About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Commercial HVAC Mechanic/Installer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with sheet metal fabrication, ductwork installation, and commercial piping systems. This is a field position working on commercial construction projects in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Install commercial HVAC systems including rooftop units, air handlers, VAV systems, and exhaust systems
- Fabricate and install sheet metal ductwork, fittings, and accessories per blueprints and specifications
- Install and connect refrigerant piping, condensate lines, and associated components
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and equipment submittals
- Coordinate with general contractors, project managers, and other trades on the jobsite
- Ensure all work meets local codes, OSHA standards, and manufacturer specifications
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues on installed systems
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years of commercial HVAC installation experience
- Proficiency in sheet metal fabrication and ductwork installation
- Experience with commercial piping (copper, refrigerant lines)
- Ability to read mechanical blueprints and schematics
- EPA 608 Certification (Universal preferred)
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification (preferred)
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various conditions including rooftops, confined spaces, and elevated areas
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
- Journeyman card or equivalent trade school certification
- Welding experience (MIG/TIG) (preferred)

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
