Spec Formliners, Inc. has become the industry leader and outstanding innovator in quality concrete form liners. We’ve pioneered large panel art motif projects while maintaining a modern and complete selection of standard form liner patterns.
We are seeking to expand our CAD department with an entry-level CAD/CAM Engineer. An ideal candidate has experience making technical drawings for manufacture with SolidWorks, demonstrates attention to detail, has hands on experience with CAM/CNC, and shows a drive to develop new processes and technologies. Knowledge of the construction-transportation industry and/or mold design and manufacturing would also be a plus.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in 3D CAD Design using SolidWorks
- BS in Engineering, Construction, or related course of study, or AS in relevant field with work experience
- Computer skills - Ability to utilize and learn multiple CAD/CAM programs, utilize Adobe products and Microsoft Office Suite
Job Duties andResponsibilities
- Create detailed approval, shop, and installation drawings
- Program CNC to make custom forms and patterns when appropriate
- Interpret construction plans in order to determine product specs based on customer needs
- Keep current product info sheets up to date
- Work within an ERP system in regards to part creation and inventory
- Take a key part of the planning and execution of projects
- Be able to keep up with multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Communicate with sales, shop, and customers using excellent verbal and written skills
- Strong understanding of engineering concepts, principles and techniques
- Strong analytical and problems solving skills, organized, detail-oriented

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
