Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking General Laborer/Material Handler to join our fast-growing team. At Mr. Patio Cover, Inc. we install aluminum patio covers as well as repair and demo covers. The ideal candidate is a hard worker with the desire to have a career opportunity with a growing company. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. This is a part-time to full-time position with a day shift, M-F. The job is located in Chino, CA
Salary Range: $19.00 - $22.00 hour, depending on experience
Examples of Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Unload manufacturer trucks of aluminum patio cover materials.
- Count and measure parts for accuracy.
- Strong attention to detail
- Label all material and keep warehouse parts in order.
- Perform job duties in a safe manner.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of production goals.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote efficiency.
- Maintain Productivity Goals.
- Handle and transport aluminum patio cover materials to job sites as needed.
- Pick up materials from manufacturers and transport to warehouse
- Assist with maintaining truck equipment and tools.
- Assist with maintaining vehicles are clean inside and out.
- Assist in repairs of patio covers as needed.
- Help with demolition of patio covers when needed.
- Assist co-workers whenever necessary.
- Report to supervisor every morning to receive job assignments.
- Keep the warehouse clean and organized.
- Clean and stock bathrooms.
- Willing to learn how to drive Work Truck with 13' dump trailer.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES:
- Job requires the ability to perform most tasks either outdoors on a job site or inside a warehouse.
OTHER DUTIES:
- File job related paperwork.
- Order parts from the manufacturer.
- The position requires that you carry a cell phone at all times and respond to it when called.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a focus on collaboration and communication.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor, as the company needs may require.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid CA Driver’s License.
- Must have a clean driving record.
- Must maintain a clean driving record.
- Must pass pre employment drug test
Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to lift 50lbs. Sometimes up to 75-100lbs with assistance.
- Ability to speak, read, and write English. All work orders, instructions (written and verbal) are in English.
- Apprenticeship or specialization is an asset but not necessary.
EDUCATION:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
