Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting two elementary sites from August 10th through the end of October. A school-based SLP is going on FMLA, and we’re seeking a highly qualified professional to provide continuity of care for a caseload of 117 students across two buildings. An assigned Speech-Language Assistant (SLA) will be available to help manage the larger caseload, allowing you to focus on impactful therapy and student outcomes.
This assignment offers flexibility: on-site services are preferred, but candidates with experience in remote (VOCO) delivery are encouraged to apply.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Possession of CCC-SLP certification
- Recent experience in school settings (elementary population preferred)
- Eligibility for state licensure in Indiana
- Comfortable managing a large caseload with support from an SLA
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Experience with virtual/remote therapy platforms is valued
Primary Duties:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services to students across two elementary schools
- Collaborate with special education teams, teachers, and families to support IEP goals
- Supervise and coordinate with the assigned SLA to optimize student support
- Maintain accurate records and documentation according to school and regulatory requirements
- Utilize telepractice tools effectively if working remotely
