Experienced Irrigation Professional | Landscape Installation | Full-Time Field Position
We’re looking for more than someone who knows sprinklers.
We are seeking an experienced Irrigation & Landscape Technician who understands irrigation systems inside and out — but who also has the hands-on landscape experience to tackle a variety of outdoor projects.
The right person can troubleshoot an irrigation problem, make the repair, and then jump in with the crew on landscape installations such as planting, pavers, and other landscape improvement projects.
If you take pride in your work, know your way around a job site, and enjoy seeing a project come together from the ground up, we want to hear from you.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOINGIrrigation
You’ll be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, adjustment, and repair of irrigation systems for residential and commercial properties.
Responsibilities include:
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair irrigation systems and related components
- Work with irrigation lines, sprinkler heads, valves, controllers/control panels, pumps, and related equipment
- Inspect systems for leaks, damage, coverage issues, and proper operation
- Check and adjust irrigation timing for efficient operation and water conservation
- Diagnose irrigation problems and determine appropriate repairs
- Participate in the installation and modification of new and existing irrigation systems
- Assist with irrigation system layouts and modifications when needed
- Maintain inventory of irrigation parts, materials, and supplies
- Read and understand blueprints, schematics, plans, and drawings when required
- Operate trenching machines, digging equipment, power equipment, and hand tools safely and efficiently
LANDSCAPE EXPERIENCE IS IMPORTANT
This is not an irrigation-only position.
In addition to irrigation work, you will assist with landscape installation and improvement projects as needed.
You should have hands-on experience with work such as:
- Planting trees, shrubs, flowers, and other plant material
- Preparing soil and planting areas
- Installing pavers and assisting with hardscape projects
- Performing landscape installations and renovations
- Using common landscape and grounds equipment
- Digging, trenching, grading, and job-site preparation
- Working alongside the landscape crew to complete projects efficiently
- Handling other grounds and landscape-related assignments as needed
We’re looking for someone who is comfortable moving between irrigation, landscape installation, and general field work depending on the needs of the job.
