This Operating Room Registered Nurse opportunity provides invaluable experience with a variety of specialized surgical procedures. Expand your clinical expertise in vascular, plastics/reconstructive (including DIEP Flaps/microsurgery), robotics (bariatric, GYN, general, colorectal), and orthopedics (total joints). Qualifications:
- Active RN license
- Minimum 1-2 years of OR nursing experience
- Vascular surgery experience and proficiency with plastics/reconstructive cases (DIEP Flaps/microsurgery) strongly encouraged
- Familiarity with robotic procedures (bariatric, GYN, general, colorectal)
- Exposure to orthopedic surgeries, particularly total joints, is a plus
- Strong critical thinking, adaptability, and communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver perioperative care in the operating room as part of a skilled surgical team
- Prepare, monitor, and advocate for patients undergoing advanced surgical procedures
- Manage surgical instruments and maintain sterile field integrity
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia, and support staff to support optimal outcomes
