Overview
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Handyman to join our team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our residential and commercial properties. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, functional, and welcoming environment by performing a wide range of maintenance tasks. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical, electrical, and handyman skills in a fast-paced setting where every day brings new challenges and opportunities to make a difference.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs across various systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical equipment.
- Execute residential and commercial painting projects to enhance property aesthetics and protect surfaces
- Execute residential and commercial plumbing projects like fixing leaky faucets, repairing or replacing toilets, unclogging drains, and other services that do not require a plumbing license
- Installing light fixtures, installing ceiling fans and other services that do not require an electrical license
- Complete small repairs and installation like repairing drywall, painting, installing shelves, installing minor appliances, and more
- Complete routine maintenance like changing HVAC filters, pressure-washing patios, mowing grass, cleaning windows and gutters and more
- Complete facilities maintenance projects, ensuring safety standards are met and work is completed efficiently.
- Assist with furniture assembly and disassembly, uninstalling and reinstalling appliances, packing and unpacking boxes and more
- Monitor parking lot lights and exterior signs
- Maintains working spaces in safe and clean conditions
- Remain highly visible and be readily available for direction at all times
Qualifications
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance, manufacturing environments, or residential property upkeep.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to repair diverse systems and equipment.
- Basic knowledge of residential and commercial painting techniques to improve property appearance.
- Basic knowledge of residential and commercial plumbing
