Our well-established CPA firm is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with 3 to 5 years of public accounting experience to join our team. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review compiled and reviewed financial statements in accordance with professional standards
- Prepare and review individual, corporate, partnership, and trust tax returns
- Perform year-end accounting and adjusting journal entries for small business clients
- Communicate with clients regarding tax planning, compliance, and financial statement matters
- Work closely with partners and staff to ensure deadlines are met and work is completed accurately
- Assist in staff training and mentoring, as needed
Qualifications:
- CPA license (active)
- 3–5 years of recent experience in public accounting
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax laws, and financial statement preparation
- Experience with QuickBooks Online/Desktop and other accounting software
- Proficient in tax preparation software (e.g., Lacerte, UltraTax, ProSeries, etc.)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple client relationships and deadlines
