Experience with a High Volume of phone calls and customers. Ability to work quickly and accurately. Must be detail oriented.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers in selecting garden supplies, plants, tools, etc.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions about our products and usage.
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for transactions including cash handling and retail math calculations.
- Stock shelves efficiently by organizing merchandise, replenishing inventory, and ensuring attractive displays that promote seasonal or promotional items.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the garden center area to create an inviting shopping environment.
- Support merchandising efforts by setting up signage, arranging plants and products attractively, and ensuring proper labeling.
- Watering Plants.
- Loading Customers products in their Vehicles.
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is highly desirable.
- Experience with POS systems, cashiering, or retail math demonstrates your readiness for the transactional aspects of the role.
- Strong communication skills are essential for explaining products clearly and building rapport with customers.
- Organizational skills help maintain an orderly store environment and manage stock efficiently.
- MUST be available to work weekends and be flexible with the seasonal changes. (This is not negotiable and will be required of everyone.)
- Must be able to follow company dress code.
Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
