Benefits Coordination
- Supports employee benefits enrollment, changes, and terminations
- Coordinates with AD on open enrollment communications and materials
- Liaises with benefits administrators regarding eligibility, billing, and claims issues
- Maintains accurate benefits records and prepares accurate reports for benefits data
- Assists employees with benefits questions and documentation
- Coordinates COBRA administration and processes
Human Resources Support
- Maintains employee personnel files in compliance with legal and firm policies
- Assists with onboarding and offboarding processes
- Provides general administrative support for HR and Finance initiatives and projects
Payroll Coordination
- Assist with processing bi-monthly payroll
- Reviews timecards for accuracy and completeness
- Maintains payroll records and enters employee compensation and benefits data
- Coordinates with external payroll provider (ADP) to ensure timely and accurate payroll
- Assists with year-end payroll processes including W-2 distribution
- Responds to employee payroll-related inquiries
Requirements and Skills for Success:
- High level of confidentiality and discretion
- Proficient knowledge of CA HR/payroll laws and benefits administration
- Solid organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft programs (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Ability to balance and meet competing priorities and tight deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Advanced knowledge of ADP payroll system, Workforce Solutions strongly preferred
- Experience with HRIS and payroll systems
