The successful Assistant Store Manager will be a quick learner, reliable leader and have the ability to multitask. The ideal candidate will be flexible in supporting both the front counter staff, as well as operating and managing the laundry and dry cleaning equipment. In this position, responsibilities are focused on promoting a great customer service experience in every aspect of the store. The successful candidate will be able to "think on their feet" to ensure that customer issues are handled professionally and to their satisfaction.

Retail counter and cash transaction experience is required. Must know how to use a point-of-sale system.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Team leader and motivator.
- Supervise, train and assist employees in customer service, store maintenance and product promotions.
- Promote sales initiatives, new procedures and programs with the team.
- Hire and train as needed to ensure adequate personnel is on hand to provide outstanding customer service.
- Ensure all customer needs and issues are satisfied in a prompt, efficient and professional manner.
- Develop and maintain a schedule for employees and promotions centered on seasonal sales and other cycles.
- Ensure the store remains clean and presentable at all times.
- Accurately handle all money transactions.
- 2-3 years of retail experience required.
