POSITION: Sanitarian
NARRATIVE: This person will follow SSOP (sanitation standard operating procedures) to implement proper cleaning and sanitation under the supervision and direction of Sanitation Lead. Must complete all tasks before the end of shift.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - OPERATIONAL
- Clean and sanitize production areas according to SSOP procedures. Working to complete the four cleaning zones using proper chemicals at correct dilutions.
- Follows instruction for chemical use, cleaning techniques, and use/storage of tools.
- Sweeps floors and dump garbage, mop floors.
- Empty cull boxes and remove apples from equipment and floor.
- Responsible for maintaining work area in a clean and safe manner.
- Must wear PPE appropriate to the task assigned and follow all color-coding assignments.

- Understands, follows and complies with company safety policies
- Understands, follows and complies with company food safety and sanitation policies
- Works alongside team members to complete tasks in a timely manner.
PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Repetitious and/or prolonged lifting and carrying, walking, standing, bending, squatting, and reaching.
- Works in a warehouse environment that is subject to temperature fluctuations, chemical exposure, and wet areas.
- PPE Required when using chemicals
OTHER JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Report any Safety, Food Safety or employee violations to your supervisor.
- Must demonstrate a “Can Do” attitude. Identify issues and be a part of creating solutions.
- Must be able to manage time efficiently and work individually as well as within a team.
- Inform Supervisor of all equipment or tools that must be re-ordered. Keep equipment and tools in good working order.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.30 - $19.66 per hour
