Overview
High End Garment/Textile Care Specialist in Southern California seeks a friendly and experienced seamstress/tailor at their San Diego location.
We’ve been a family-owned and run business for 4 generations, and treating our team as our family has resulted in an incredibly low turnover amongst our 80+ SoCal employees over the years
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Fittings and altering all types of couture garments.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 5 years seamstress/tailoring experience in high-end couture garments
- Ability to sew and fit a wide range of garments
- Must be able to do Fittings and Major Alterations
- Must be able to demonstrate the skills
- Attention to detail and ability to devise solutions to complex situations
- Creates a positive work environment
- Ability to work well with others and independently
Pay Scale Range: $20.00 to $30.00 /hour
OTHER CONSIDERATIONS:
- Schooling is a Plus
- Reknitting of wools is a Plus
- A Background check is run on all potential employees
- E-Verify is run on all new employees
