Our client, a leader in facility maintenance and engineering services, is seeking a Mobile HVAC Technician to join their team. As a Mobile HVAC Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Support team supporting multiple facilities. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Mobile HVAC Technician
Location: Columbia, SC or Florence, SC
Pay Range: $35/hour
What's the Job?
- Perform maintenance, monitoring repairs to Mechanical, Plumbing, Structural, Furniture, Fire, Life Safety, and Control systems for various facilities.
- Travel between multiple facilities to ensure proper functioning of all systems.
- Maintain responsibility for facility services, preventative maintenance, purchasing, inventory control, and contracted maintenance.
- Conduct cleaning, inspecting, calibrating, and replacing parts to optimize HVAC system performance.
- Record readings, make adjustments, and ensure equipment operates efficiently and safely.
What's Needed?
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- 5-7 years of experience maintaining and repairing commercial building systems.
- EPA 608 Type II Certification; EPA 608 Universal Certification preferred.
- Ability to analyze and troubleshoot Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and HVAC systems.
- Valid driver’s license and proficiency with computer applications such as Word and Excel.
