Our company is expanding. We are seeking a passionate and energetic Ice Cream Maker to join our vibrant culinary team! In this role, you will be at the forefront of creating delicious, high-quality ice cream and frozen treats that delight our customers. We are closed on Saturdays and Sundays. We have a few select holidays when we are closed.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and produce a variety of ice cream flavors, ensuring consistency and quality in every batch
- Operate commercial ice cream machines and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Decorate and present ice cream desserts with appealing cake decorating techniques and garnishes
- Package finished products carefully for retail display or take-out orders, maintaining food safety standards
- Assist with food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures to uphold cleanliness and hygiene regulations
- Support food preparation tasks such as mixing ingredients, measuring portions, and maintaining ingredient inventory
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and excellent customer service during peak hours
Experience
- Previous experience in food production, pastry arts, or culinary roles within the food industry is highly desirable
- Hands-on experience with cake decorating, baking, and food presentation techniques
- Familiarity with food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures
- Strong knife skills and proficiency in cooking or catering environments are a plus
- Restaurant or kitchen experience demonstrating ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Knowledge of packaging methods suitable for retail or wholesale distribution of frozen desserts
- Passion for creating innovative desserts with attention to detail and quality standards
- Experience is also not required
Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
