The Warehouse Team Lead is responsible for ensuring that frontline workers perform work duties safely and efficiently. Team Leaders are hands-on with their team and assist other employees in daily warehouse/shipping operations.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and inventory incoming and outgoing freight.
- Manage the flow of freight.
- Quality Control: Be involved in receiving inspections and final inspections.
- Implement work instructions for all tasks.
- Understand and manage storage and inventory.
- Integrate coaching into warehouse operations.
- Immediately address non-conformance to safety issues.
- Ensure an environment where unsafe acts and conditions are identified and eliminated.
- Provide daily hands-on support for the department.
- Drive compliance with safety, quality, and productivity goals in support of warehouse leadership team objectives.
