About Us Packageman is a growing ecommerce 3PL based in Fairfield, NJ. We handle fulfillment for online brands, and our receiving team is the front door. Everything starts with getting inventory in accurately and put away properly.
The Role We're hiring a Receiving Assistant to support our inbound operations. This isn't just unloading trucks and scanning boxes. You'll need to think on your feet, make smart decisions during putaway, and keep things moving without someone standing over your shoulder. If you're someone who takes ownership and wants to grow into more responsibility, this is a good fit.
What You'll Do
- Unload, sort, process, receive and putaway all Inbound freight
- Partner with Outbound Leadership to complete all customer orders
- Replenish inventory based on customer demand
- Communicate with clients clearly and professionally
- Ensure the accuracy of all inventory
- Ensure warehouse is clean, organized and safe to work
What We're Looking For
- Advanced WMS Experience
- Forklift Certification - Specifically Crown Stand-up
- Advanced computer skills including Google Sheets, Excel
- Advanced Inventory Control Experience
- Ability to lift 50lbs
- Ability to work and solve problems independently
