Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and creative Junior Interior Designer to join our dynamic design team. Responsibilities
- Support the creation of detailed interior design plans using software such as SketchUp, AutoCAD, and Revit.
- Assist in drafting layouts, elevations, and detailed drawings that align with client needs and project specifications.
- Contribute to material selection, color schemes, lighting design, and finishes by applying principles of color theory and interior design best practices.
- Collaborate on project management tasks including scheduling, budgeting, and coordinating with vendors for lighting sales, renovation, and remodeling projects.
- Prepare presentations and visualizations using Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Creative Suite to communicate design ideas effectively.
- Help review contracts, construction documents, and technical specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Participate in site visits for renovation or construction projects to monitor progress and ensure adherence to design intent.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in SketchUp, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite is essential.
- Strong drafting skills combined with an understanding of CAD (Computer-Aided Design) tools for precise technical drawings.
- Knowledge of interior design principles including space planning, lighting design, color theory, and remodeling processes.
- Experience or familiarity with project management tasks such as budgeting and coordinating with contractors or vendors.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with clients, suppliers, and team members.
- Studio Designer experience
- Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
