Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for toddlers
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities that promote learning and development in areas such as math, literacy, and social skills
- Monitor and assess the progress of each child and provide individualized support and guidance as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
- Foster positive relationships with parents and communicate regularly about their child's progress
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive learning environment
- Implement classroom management strategies to ensure a productive and positive learning atmosphere
Experience:
- Previous experience working with young children in a childcare or educational setting
- Knowledge of early childhood development principles and practices
- Familiarity with literacy education strategies and early intervention techniques
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students
- Excellent organizational skills to manage classroom activities and materials
