Overview
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Culinary Director to lead our culinary team and oversee all aspects of food production and menu planning. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service, with expertise in culinary arts, food safety, and kitchen management. This role is pivotal in creating exceptional dining experiences while ensuring high standards of quality and safety in our kitchen operations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and design innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends and customer preferences, while adhering to PRD requirements.
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and service.
- Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels to minimize waste.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized kitchen environment.
- Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
- Collaborate with other departments to enhance the overall dining experience for guests.
- Monitor food quality and presentation to ensure consistency with established standards.
- Implement cost control measures while maintaining the highest quality of food service.
Experience
- Proven experience in a culinary leadership role within a food service or senior living role.
- Strong knowledge of menu planning, food production techniques, and kitchen management practices.
- Familiarity with inventory control systems and best practices for maintaining food safety standards.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead and inspire a diverse team.
- A culinary degree or equivalent is preferred but not mandatory.
- We are farm to table, current knowledge of that process or ability to learn quickly is required.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
