Duties
- Greet guests warmly, take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, and process transactions efficiently.
- Prepare and serve food items according to safety standards, ensuring quality and presentation meet company guidelines.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively to assist with food preparation tasks.
- Upsell menu items by recommending popular or new products to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to sanitation and food safety protocols at all times.
- Manage customer orders with professionalism, handle cash register operations, process retail sales transactions, and give correct change.
- Support team members during busy periods by assisting with food handling, serving, and overall restaurant operations.
Requirements
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with cash handling is essential.
- Demonstrated ability in food preparation, food safety management, sanitation practices, and operating kitchen equipment.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask efficiently during high-volume periods.
- Proven customer service skills with a friendly attitude and effective communication abilities.
- Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately.
- Food industry experience including serving, cashiering, or café work is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings in a fast-paced setting.
