We’re looking for a Full-Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our medical team at the Wood County Jail in Wisconsin. This position follows a rotating schedule that includes every other weekend.
- Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM – 8:30 PM
- Saturday–Sunday: 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM
Rotation includes every other weekend

Deliver direct patient care in a secure correctional environment

Administer medications and treatments

Conduct assessments and document inmate health concerns

Collaborate with providers and healthcare staff

Respond to medical needs with professionalism and confidence

Help create a safe, respectful, and efficient healthcare environment

Active Wisconsin LPN license
-
Current CPR certification
-
Strong assessment and communication skills
-
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Correctional or emergency nursing experience is helpful, but not required

12-hour shifts with built-in schedule consistency
