- Handle laundry tasks efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing
- Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and specialized floor care techniques
- Manage outdoor work responsibilities such as patio or porch cleaning and outdoor surface maintenance when required
- Use janitorial and custodial equipment safely and effectively while adhering to safety protocols for manual handling and heavy lifting
- Communicate professionally with clients to understand their needs, provide updates on cleaning progress, and ensure satisfaction with services provided
Requirements
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning environments with knowledge of cleaning surfaces, equipment, and detergents
- Strong understanding of sanitation standards and proper implementation of cleaning procedures
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks and complete assignments promptly
- Experience in customer service or client communication to foster positive relationships with clients
- Knowledge of outdoor work practices is a plus; previous janitorial or custodial experience is highly valued
