Join our team as a Medical Biller where you will play a crucial role in the healthcare industry. We are seeking a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in medical billing and coding to ensure accurate and timely processing of medical claims.

**DERMATOLOGY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**
Large private practice with multiple locations throughout the Valley needs a
Medical Billing Specialist with extensive experience
- 5+ years only will be considered so please do not apply if less than this
- Very busy practice with multiple providers
- Must be able to integrate with a great team of billers
-EMA EMR system
Monday-Friday 40 hours per week
Glendale office location
Paid holidays

Hourly pay rate depending on experience. Medical benefits and 401k retirement plan
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Claim Preparation & Submission
- Verification: Verify insurance coverage and benefits before a patient's procedure
- Collect: Collect pre-procedure payment (deductible/co-insurance)
- Denial Management: Audit and investigate rejected or underpaid claims, then draft appeals to recover lost revenue.
- Payment Processing: Post payments from insurance providers to patient accounts and reconcile daily transactions.
- Patient Billing: Send invoices for co-pays and deductibles, answer patient account inquiries, and set up payment plans.
