The Role
The Production Team Member is a hands-on manufacturing role supporting multiple areas of the production floor. This position is intentionally cross trained to help balance workload across departments as production needs change. You will report to one department lead while assisting in other areas as needed. This is an active, on-your-feet role in a production environment.
- Support production work across multiple departments, including:
- Gluing: Installing foam and fabric to wood and poly shells using basic hand tools
- Wood Kit: Assembly of wood frames used in upholstered seating
- Assembly: Upfit and final assembly of chairs and seating in preparation for shipping and delivery
- Finish Support: Sanding and scuffing of components in preparation for finishing
- Use hand tools safely and correctly
- Assist with measurements, fittings, and material handling
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow all safety procedures and company standards
- Perform other production tasks as assigned to support workflow
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Willingness to learn and work across multiple production areas
- Ability to follow instructions and work cooperatively with others
- Attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Manufacturing or shop experience is helpful but not required
- Standing and walking for most of the workday
- Reaching, bending, stooping, kneeling, and twisting as required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs. occasionally throughout the day
- Good hand-eye coordination and ability to use basic tools
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
- Full-time
- Typical hours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Overtime may be required occasionally based on production needs
