American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Nights position requiring MS or compact RN license and Cerner experience.

Work in the Med/Surg unit of a hospital environment
-
8-week contract assignment
-
Night shift, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
-
Alternating weekend requirement
-
Patient ratio of 6:1
-
Uses Cerner EMR system
-
Active RN license (MS or Compact) currently in hand
-
Current BLS certification with no expiration within first 30 days of start

Minimum 1+ years of recent Med/Surg experience required

Cerner EMR experience required
-
No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Valid driver's license required for consideration
-
US Social Security Number required for consideration (no Canadian SIN accepted)

Provide direct medical-surgical nursing care to hospitalized patients
-
Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel positions
-
RTO requests must be less than 1 week

Not eligible for consideration if previously employed as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years
