We're looking for a Certified Veterinary Technician or highly experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our growing small animal hospital near PCC Rock Creek. Position Responsibilities
Responsibilities may include:
- Obtaining patient histories and performing initial assessments
- Venipuncture and IV catheter placement
- Anesthesia monitoring
- Dental cleanings
- Administering medications and vaccines
- Taking diagnostic radiographs
- Fear Free patient handling and restraint
- Assisting doctors with outpatient and inpatient care
Qualifications
- Certified Veterinary Technician or
- Minimum of 3 years of veterinary experience as a Veterinary Assistant
- This is not an entry-level position
- Ability to lift 40 pounds
- Commitment to providing compassionate, Fear Free patient care
