The Clinical Manager is responsible for the daily oversight and coordination of clinical operations within the Hospice program. This position provides leadership, supervision, and support to an interdisciplinary team to ensure the delivery of high-quality, compassionate, patient-centered care in compliance with federal and state regulations, accreditation standards, and agency policies. The Clinical Manager promotes clinical excellence, regulatory compliance, staff development, and operational efficiency while fostering a culture of teamwork and accountability.
This is a full time, salaried, exempt position with a rotating weekend manager on call requirement (compensated).
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts (or state of practice).
- Current CPR certification.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Experience:
- Minimum of three (3) years of clinical nursing experience.
- At least one (1) year of supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
- Hospice management experience strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of Medicare Conditions of Participation, OASIS, and hospice regulations.
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
Skill Set:
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
- Excellent leadership, coaching, and conflict resolution abilities.
- Thorough understanding of Hospice regulations.
- Knowledge of QAPI principles and performance improvement initiatives.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic health record systems.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound professional judgment.
