Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution
- Valid and current state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience conducting assessments, developing intervention strategies, and providing counseling services in a school setting
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
- Proficiency in creating Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and participating in multidisciplinary teams
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage a diverse caseload
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform psychoeducational assessments to identify students’ strengths and areas of need
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement targeted interventions
- Provide individual and group counseling to support students’ emotional, social, and behavioral growth
- Participate in IEP meetings, offering insight and guidance on student progress and needs
- Consult with educators and parents to promote effective academic and behavioral solutions
- Deliver professional development workshops and act as a resource for mental health concerns within the school community
