A day in the life of a Press Brake Operator would look like:
- Set up and operate CNC and manual press brake machines.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders.
- Select the correct tooling and dies for each production run.
- Measure and inspect finished parts using tape measures, calipers, micrometers, squares, and other precision measuring tools.
- Perform first-piece and in-process quality inspections to ensure parts meet specifications.
- Adjust machine settings as needed to maintain quality and efficiency.
- Load, unload, and position metal materials safely.
- Maintain production records and complete required documentation.
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Work closely with supervisors and team members to meet production goals.
Skills and Experience:
The ideal candidate may have:

Previous experience in Press Brake Operations, Manufacturing, or like field

Knowledge of reading and interpretting a tape measure and blueprints

Safety mindfullness
