Duties
- Safely operate shuttle vans, passenger vans, or other authorized vehicles to transport guests between the hotel and designated locations such as airports, attractions, or local points of interest
- Assist guests with luggage handling, providing a welcoming and helpful attitude at all times
- Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of the vehicle, including routine inspections and reporting any issues promptly
- Follow GPS navigation systems to efficiently navigate local driving routes and ensure timely arrivals
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws, state transportation regulations, and company policies during all driving activities
- Communicate effectively with guests, providing information about local area attractions or hotel services as needed
- Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, fuel usage, and vehicle condition for operational purposes
Requirements
- Proven experience as a delivery driver, chauffeur driver, or shuttle driver with a strong focus on customer service
- Valid driver’s license appropriate for operating passenger vehicles; commercial driver’s license (CDL) or chauffeur license preferred but not mandatory
- Experience operating various types of passenger vehicles such as buses, limousines, or paratransit vehicles; familiarity with passenger van operation is highly desirable
- Knowledge of GPS navigation tools and local driving routes to optimize efficiency
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks including lifting luggage or assisting passengers with mobility needs
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with guests and team members
- Knowledge of traffic regulations, safety standards, and vehicle maintenance procedures
- Ability to work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays as required
