Must-Have Requirements
- 1+ year experience with industrial equipment maintenance, preferably in a paper mill or similar environment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on troubleshooting skills
- Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and current vehicle insurance
- Must live within 45 minutes of Port Townsend; maximum commute of 1 hour
- Safety-focused with ability to work around chemicals and heavy machinery
- Basic computer skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work occasional nights, weekends, holidays, or on-call shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Install, assemble, troubleshoot, and perform preventive maintenance on Solenis equipment
- Support chemical feed systems and monitor water-treatment systems
- Perform basic lab testing, collect samples, and record test results
- Assist with pumps, parts replacement, and basic mechanical repairs
- Maintain inventory and order equipment parts/products
- Follow mill safety procedures and use required PPE
- Work with mill operators, maintenance teams, electricians, and instrumentation specialists
- Identify equipment issues and proactively support solutions
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
