Performs radiographic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. They also perform a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis; assumes responsibility for designated areas of procedures as required, acts as Secretary when not taking x-rays. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission and values.

Performs radiographic procedures on patients in the Urgent Care Center (UCC). Follows established protocols and procedures and maintaining organizational standards. Documents and communicates results as per UCC policies.

Provides services using the FACES culture.

Delivers and assists in direct patient care to include but not limited to obtaining and documenting vital signs, and electrocardiograms.

Assists and demonstrates proficiency in performing screening, lab and other testing for UCC and occupational health patients.

Collects co-pays and reconciles collections.

Able to complete the following secretarial duties:

Able to register patients in electronic medical record and disposition medical records.

Attach reports in Systoc (ie: Chain of custody, radiology reports)

Identify patients that need to be seen by the Physician or Nurse Practitioner immediately.

Obtains authorizations from employers for each occupational health patient.

Perform opening and closing procedures for medical secretary and rad technician role.

Performs patient care rounds at least every hour with patients and families in rooms and reception area.

Performs other work duties as assigned.

Employee is required to sit occasionally, stand and walk frequently.

Employee must lift/carry a heavy (50lbs+) load occasionally.

Employee may be required to lift over 100lbs with assistance.

Employee is frequently required to bend, squat, crawl, knee, climb and lift waist to overhead.

Employee is frequently required to reach forward and reach overhead.

Employees are frequently exposed to fumes, radiation, electrical hazards, blood borne pathogens and CRT terminal.
