The Senior Accountant will play a critical role in supporting the monthly close and ongoing accounting operations for PACE KC, a subsidiary of Swope Health Services. This position offers strong growth potential and will be a key contributor within the accounting team, partnering closely with leadership to ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance, and process improvement.
Salary starting at $65,000 - $75,000 annually
Primary Functions:
- Month end financial close
- Payroll entries
- Coding invoices and coordinating with AP team for payment of vendor invoices
- Revenue and AR entries
- Reconciliation of general ledger accounts including bank reconciliations.
- Fixed assets and lease accounting.
- Prepare grant billings and external reports for miscellaneous grants.
- Assist Director of Finance with other related duties.
Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance with at least three years’ experience.
CPA preferred but not required
Experience & Qualifications:
Healthcare and not-for-profit accounting experience is highly preferred
Month end close experience
MS Excel, Microsoft Dynamics GP or similar ERP experience
