Daycare Director
Thompson Early Learning Center is Sedalia’s only Intergenerational Learning Center. We are a non-profit organization with a focus on providing care for children of employees.
We are looking for an individual that is eager to contribute to our culture and provide quality care for children from 6 weeks to age 5.
Thompson Early Learning Center is more than a daycare, we are a home away from home for your family.
A Director of the Daycare must have the following qualifications:
· Missouri Certification in Daycare
· Sixty (60) college semester credits with twelve (12) of the credits in child-related courses, OR twenty-four (24) months' experience with twelve (12) college semester credits in child-related courses
· Knowledge of high-quality Early Childhood Education programs and how they operate
· Know all Missouri Regulations for Child care Centers
· Ability to lead a staff of professional team members
· Strong communication skills: Verbal and written
· Detail Oriented
· Knowledge of children’s physical, emotional and development patterns
· Build rapport with families and our Skilled Nursing facility staff
· Professional appearance and demeanor
· Compute skills
· Great work ethic
