Position Overview
The Warehouse Associate is a vital part of the CTC Supply team. This role ensures that products are received, stored, and shipped safely and efficiently — supporting our mission to deliver excellent service and value to our HVAC contractor partners. You’ll help keep the branch running smoothly by organizing inventory, preparing orders, and maintaining a safe, positive workplace.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick, pack, and stage HVAC equipment, parts, and supplies for customer orders and deliveries.
- Receiving & Stocking: Unload incoming shipments, check for accuracy, and restock materials in designated areas.
- Inventory Accuracy: Assist with cycle counts, maintain organized storage areas, and report discrepancies promptly.
- Material Handling: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, stackers, and other warehouse equipment.
- Shipping & Delivery Support: Prepare and label outbound shipments; assist drivers with loading.
- Customer Assistance: Provide friendly, helpful service to customers and delivery drivers at the counter or dock.
- Safety & Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized warehouse. Follow all safety policies and report any hazards immediately.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with counter, sales, and delivery teams to meet customer needs and branch goals.Manage cash, credit, and account transactions, maintaining compliance with company standards.
- Occasional customer deliveries as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Must have Valid Drivers License
- Forklift Certification preferred; not required.
- Other skills required:
- Work experience as general laborer, preferably in warehouse.
- Ability to operate forklift proficiently.
- Strong people skills.
- Good moral character.
- Ability to lift 75 pounds. Undeterred by heights and adverse climatic conditions.
- Positive work history and ability to maintain solid attendance.
- Available to work extended hours.
