Duties
- Greet patients warmly and guide them through the check-in process with professionalism and enthusiasm
- Explain treatment plans, financial options, and insurance coverage clearly to ensure patient understanding and comfort
- Coordinate appointment scheduling to optimize office flow and accommodate patient needs
- Assist with verifying insurance benefits and processing payments accurately
- Collaborate with dental team members to prepare treatment rooms and ensure all necessary materials are ready
- Follow up with patients regarding upcoming appointments, treatment progress, or billing inquiries
- Maintain organized records of patient information, treatment plans, and communication logs to ensure accuracy and confidentiality
Requirements
- Prior experience in a dental office setting is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and administrative support processes in healthcare environments
- Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with patients, insurance providers, and team members
