Job Summary:
We are looking for an energetic, highly efficient, and dedicated Busser to join our front-of-house team. The Busser plays a crucial role in the dining experience by supporting servers and ensuring quick table turnover, which is essential for maintaining smooth operations in our busy environment. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced setting, has a strong work ethic, and is a proactive team player.
Key Responsibilities:
- Table Maintenance & Turnover: Promptly clear and clean tables, chairs, and surrounding areas after guests depart, ensuring they are reset quickly and correctly for the next seating.
- Support & Communication: Act as a key support person for the serving staff, anticipating their needs and assisting with drink refills, food running (as needed), and general table maintenance.
- Dining Room Organization: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the dining room, service stations, and storage areas.
- Glassware & Plateware Management: Scrape, stack, and transport dirty dishes, glassware, and silverware to the dishwashing area in an organized and safe manner.
- Stocking & Prepping: Ensure service stations are fully stocked with clean dishes, silverware, napkins, ice, water pitchers, and other necessary supplies throughout the shift.
- Guest Interaction: Interact with guests in a friendly, polite, and professional manner, always making a positive impression.
- Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all sanitation, safety, and health policies.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a restaurant or customer service role is preferred, but not mandatory.
- Ability to move quickly and efficiently in a high-traffic environment for extended periods.
- Excellent stamina and physical condition to stand, walk, lift, and carry heavy trays/bins repeatedly throughout a shift.
- A strong sense of urgency and time management skills.
- Basic understanding of hygiene and sanitation practices.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift, pick up, and move items up to or more than 25 pounds regularly.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to stand and walk for 8+ hours.
- Ability to bend, reach, and twist frequently.
